The tanuki spend time in Tanuki Mountain and somehow everyone is individual. A bumming around tanuki, named Kantarou, especially likes to disguise himself as a cute squirrel, and he always, always lives in a leisurely lifestyle at his own pace. This is the lifestyle of the tanuki on this Tanuki Mountain covered in chestnuts. Won't you come to see?

Translation Notes
  1. Tanuki (狸 or タヌキ) is the Japanese word for the Japanese raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonides viverrinus). They have been part of Japanese folklore since ancient times. The legendary tanuki is reputed to be mischievous and jolly, a master of disguise and shapeshifting, but somewhat gullible and absent-minded. Wikipedia: Tanuki.
